Information
With Tucson's summer and heat coming and the family making arrangements to travel,
there are some points of interest you should know about your vehicle.
Do not wait until the last minute to make that vehicle travel ready.
- Check all fluid levels.
- Pressure test the cooling system.
- Inspect all hoses.
- Change oil and filter.
- Check wiper blades. Our heat dries them out and makes them hard and squeaky.
- Check tires and air pressure. Tires may look good, but may need to be replaced
after three years on the vehicle. Have a tire specialist inspect them. The air pressure
should be checked at least once a week depending on how many miles you put on them.
- Wheel alignment and suspension components should be inspected at least once a year.
- Check the brakes, THINK!!!
In case of an accident...
- Call the police.
- Exchange insurance information.
- Exchange names and addresses.
- Get the license plate numbers, make, and model of vehicles involved.
- Do not admit fault
- Contact your insurance company.
- Write down as many details about the accident as you can and furnish that
information to your
insurance company.
- Choose the right collision repair facility.
